Our Legacy — Born in Industrial Crisis

The inception of Puma Security Services Pvt. Ltd. (PSS) is a remarkable story of transforming acute adversity into long-term opportunity. In 1987, a severe labor union crisis paralyzed the Dalmia Group's OCL India Ltd. (formerly Orissa Cement Ltd.), the pioneer of the cement industry in India. With severe risk to property and life and existing security mechanisms completely broken down, company management entrusted the task of restoring order to Mr. Ashok Kumar Singh.

Leveraging innate crisis-resolution expertise, he swiftly assembled a disciplined, fearless team that restored peace and enabled regular plant operations without disruptions. Following this historic turnaround, PSS was officially founded in 1987 and registered as a Private Limited company in April 1997.

PSS was professionally structured by Shri R. A. Pathak, an esteemed ex-Army officer and former Security Manager at OCL India Ltd. Today, guided by ex-defense leadership and nearly 40 years of field excellence, PSS remains the premier security guardian for heavy industries, quarries, and institutions across the region.
